Plan
It’s not easy to lose weight. It takes planning and determination to do so. Know why you want to lose weight and be careful not to lose that focus. If you have a goal weight that you’re aiming towards, write it down; it definitely helps to countdown. Plan your exercise routines and stick to it. That way, you are accountable for the things you’ve promised yourself. Remember to always consult your doctor if you’re unsure if it’s appropriate.

Small changes
A healthy lifestyle is a permanent way of life and not temporal. The weight loss is a goal that we want to achieve but to maintain it, think of lifestyle changes that you can make. Start small by cutting out the indulgences in life. For example, if you’re a fan of lattes, try swopping whole milk with skimmed milk. Try healthier alternatives like fruit chips if you’re looking for a crunch. These small changes are reasonable and they will make an impact on your diet and calorie intake.
Likewise, if you’re totally not an exercise kind of girl, it helps to start small. Haven’t gone jogging in years? Don’t worry; you don’t have to start on a 10km training routine. Try alighting at a bus stop one stop before your intended stop. This will kickstart your activity levels. Exercise does not have to be boring. Walk with your best friend and you can have a bonding session at the same time.

Gradual increase
When you feel like you can increase the intensity of your diet and exercise regime, you can start by cutting out a snack from your diet, like a particular biscuit or chips. Replace your fizzy drinks with healthier alternatives. The point is to wean your body off additives and chemicals.
Know that at some point in your weight loss regime that your weight will plateau and you may not see any changes in your weight despite constant exercise. This means that you are not working your body hard enough and its time to start to increase the difficulty of your workouts. Either increase the distance in your runs, or give yourself a shorter time to complete it.

Manage your diet and try to eat less rice/noodles etc. Try eating more vegetable and fruits instead.
Also, refrain from drinking sweet drinks and not to snack on unhealthy food.
