There are several reason for a mixed message. First, it’s because he or she isn’t sure of a given situation or he or it could be that she may not know how to handle the situation of effective communication. 1. Talk to his friends

This will be a good way for you to tell if he’s giving you any special treatment on purpose. They’ll also be able to tell you if he’s doing it on purpose and if it’s a good or bad thing. It doesn’t hurt either, if his buddies like you – if you get together later on, you’ll have no problems spending guy time with them.

 

2. Find out if it’s just him

We often misread signals even though the message is already crystal clear. So if say, he’s smiling at you excessively, make sure that it isn’t just his cheerful personality shining through.

 

3. Create more opportunities to hang out together

Don’t be afraid to invite him to any parties that you’re having, or just introduce him to your friends. This is also your chance to see if he reacts differently to you.

 

In this day and age, it’s more than acceptable for a girl to make the first move. But first, consider if he’s really worth your time at all – you don’t want to be in a relationship where you’re constantly wondering what his feelings are for you.
