I've been with the same company for half a year - is it too early for me to ask for a promotion?
After months of searching, I finally got a job offer but the pay is too low – what can I do to negotiate a higher salary?

Just accept if not he will think you have something to hide. Change privacy settings or be mindful of what you post

If your boss sent you a friend request, then there must be a reason for him or her sending it--maybe he/she wants to know you better. I would recommend accepting the friend request, but adjusting the privacy settings just so that your private life would not affect your reputation and your boss's opinions of you in your career life.
